Rather than attending Fruit Attraction, a massive fresh produce focused event held in Madrid every October, I determined another plan for Blossom Translations.
Last August I decided I would open the business to related markets.
It is beyond question to leave the fresh produce focused business but this time I am spreading the word among the vegetarian world. Which word do I want to spread?
That having business and marketing contents translated by specialized professional translators, increases the chances of success of your next campaign. Next 21st and 22nd October, Blossom Translations will be at Veggie World in Brussels for “Europe’s largest and oldest vegan trade fair for products and services aimed at the general public and industry.” Why would the vegetarian solutions business even think about specialised translation?
The reasons are clear:
- Increase brand visibility
- Enhance business credibility
- Reach new customers faster
- Keep existing clients happy
Basically the same reasons that move those companies to rent a stand for 2 or 3 days at an international business event.
Before coming we must define objectives and strategies. Then set the budget, organize the presence and close the meeting agenda. Then comes the announcement. A properly designed announcement published on social networks, plus a blogpost are just a few examples. Why would I announce my presence at an event before it happens? So that all participants know I will be there and know about my services before I speak to them at the event. They would say something like “Oh, Ana from Blossom Translations, of course!” If possible and because this event in particular provides all the participants’ email addresses, you can try to book meetings beforehand. So, note to self, close your meeting agenda. To take advantage of the event you should first master the venue and know which and where the stands you want to visit are located. Then you must be sure you meet your agenda and network. This means looking, operating and selling. After the event you should make a balance of the contacts you gathered and follow up a few weeks later = track your contacts.
